CSS are proud to receive yet another Mill Turn, which is currently being installed, to compliment our ever growing Turning Division, this DMGMORI NTX2500 will allow CSS to Service specific customer requirements, this allows Capacity increase and frees up Capacity on Regular Turning and Milling processes and is instrumental in allowing CSS to grow the Business.

CSS have been working hard introducing New Customers which has driven this New and vital Purchase, as CSS grow our requirements change in line with this growth and allows us to upscale and add New and more efficient Machinery, this benefits CSS as well as our Customers and aids in increasing better efficiencies and allows CSS to react to and accept more intricate, complex and dimensional critical parts.

Contract Solutions (Scotland) Ltd are happy to inform that we have further invested in our Capabilities and taken ownership of a New Wirer(EDM)(MAKINO U6 Heat Extreme), this eradicates the need to go elsewhere for this type of Service, it adds to our Self sufficiency and allows us more control, quicker turnaround, reduced costs, this also opens up possibilities for CSS to Develop into relatively untouched Markets which up until now we have avoided and also adds to our Portfolio of Services and Capabilities.

Contract Solutions would like to share that we have just taken ownership of a couple of CNC Machines, these are to add to our already large Compliment of CNC Machines and will enable our expansion of Business to flow much more efficiently, we have not only invested in New Machinery but also recruited a number of Experienced CNC Millers and Turners, this allows us to get back to full speed and re-introduce our shifts in preparation for the New Contracts we have successfully been awarded, these are all High Volume and repeatable hence the Introduction of our New Machines.
The first Machine we have introduced is a 5 axis CNC Milling Machine (DMG DMU 40 Evo Linear), Fully Automated with Palletization(35 Pallets).
The other newly installed Machine is a DMG NTX 2000 Mill Turn, this allows us to upskill and offer a different dimension of Machining to our Customers.
Contract Solutions are going from strength to strength and the future looks very good for us and our ever growing workforce, we have taken on a number of Apprentices this year as we want to develop our workforce and to keep the momentum we have for the future.

Sylvac Scanner is - Optical machine designed to measure static ot dynamic round parts with diameters up to- Ø0.2 ÷ 64mm and length up to 500mm. "Most of the cylindrical parts, such as aerospace and automotive shafts and components, connectors, dental screws and implants, hydraulics parts, metal packaging for food and cosmetics, rollers, turbines parts, CNC turned parts, etc. can be measured in a few seconds. Various thread types and features can be measured and analyzed with our machines. All Sylvac-Scan machines incorporate high resolution line-scan cameras, which would correspond to a 200 megapixel camera! Using the green LED illuminator to project a collimated beam of light across the part, the part is scanned at speeds up to 100mm/s, whilst the contour of the part is collected through the high precision bi-telecentric lens system and the projected image is detected and processed using the latest line-scan camera technology.The contour of the workpiece is reproduced on the software and all the various elements shown can be measured in static (without part rotation) or in dynamic (with part rotation) when geometrical features such as run-out or concentricity must be measured."
