Our Services
CNC Milling
Contract Solutions offer leading CNC Milling services, producing high quality components for use in demanding applications. Whatever your requirements are they are all undertaken with the same quality in mind.
Turning
Contract Solutions provide high quality multi axis turning. We have the ability to produce complex turned parts from 2mm – 300mm diameter and 700mm in length in a variety of materials from plastic to high temp alloys, to suit our customer needs.
5 Axis Milling
With heavy investment in 5 axis machining, Contract Solutions now operate eight Matsuura 5 axis machining centres. 5 axis machining allows the capability to make shapes and components in a single process increasing process reliability, accuracy and quality.
Mill-Turn CNC
A mill-turn CNC machine combines CNC turning (part rotates) and milling (tool rotates) in one setup to produce complex, rotationally symmetric parts efficiently. Unlike a 5-axis mill, which only moves the tool around a stationary part, a mill-turn machine spins the workpiece at high speeds for turning, allowing for faster production of cylindrical parts.
Finishing
In house finishing is an integral part of our service. Machine deburring is always employed but is not always effective in reaching all areas, particularly on small precision components. To overcome this, we employ 6 highly trained personnel to manually carry out deburring, using microscopes and precision hand tools. This process is applied to 100% of the components manufactured
Production Engineering
Using the highest level of engineering software available along with highly skilled and experienced Production Engineers/CNC Programmers, we are experts in complex component production. Plus, we can provide assistance at the design stage, providing an understanding of what is possible and most cost effective.
Bead Blasting & Surface Coating
We are able to carry out bead blasting and have invested in our own surface coating facility. This facility is purely for Contract Solutions own use and includes an Iridite and SurTec 650/650V. This has added to the efficiency of our operation. and the start-to-finish quality control.
