The foundation of Contract Solutions Scotland is an extensively equipped CNC Milling facility. Containing fourteen CNC milling machines in a spacious, climate controlled environment, our milling department is perfectly equipped to produce high quality components with precision and efficiency.

Taking centre-stage are twelve top-specification Matsuura CNC machine centres, featuring high speed spindles, high pressure coolant feeds, tool monitoring systems and Renishaw probing capabilities. With these, we are able to operate to a max work space size of 500mm diameter and produce small or large complex components to the tightest of tolerances. Complimenting these are a DMG Mori DMU 40 5-axis machine centre and a Makino U6 Heat Extreme Wire.

With heavy investment in 5-axis machining we now operate five Matsuura MX520 5-axis machine centres with 4 Lang Eco tower Automation. The Lang Automation towers allow us to operate 24/7 and the, recently added, HPlus 300 Fixturing gives us high-volume capability. These are equipped with Nikken 5 axis units which allow the machining of complex shapes and components in a single process. This increases process reliability, accuracy and quality, along with decreasing the set-up time for multiple operations.

Our highly skilled team of engineers ensure quality and consistency by utilising state of the art manufacturing planning and programming. Ultimately, we have full control of every aspect of the manufacturing process, from scheduling to finishing, and can ensure 100% traceability.
